2008 Participants
Participants enrolled in the U.S-China Bilateral Trade Program experience a rich mix of activities during the semester. These include a full time internship, four days per week, in private companies and organizations located in Washington D.C.; weekly classes focusing on the U.S- China bilateral agenda, speakers, panels, site visits, forums and trade simulations.
The U.S.-China Bilateral Trade Internship Program is unique because it brings Chinese and U.S. students together to work and study. The students will learn best business practices, how to facilitate bilateral trade, and develop cross-cultural awareness. The program prepares students from China and the U.S. to champion development that will benefit both countries by exposing them to innovative programming and leadership training.
The 20 students selected to receive Boeing Company scholarships for 2008 were chosen from a pool of more than 70 applicants.
