Imagine that I say, I speak Chinese and therefore, I understand China. Nonsense, you’d say. Even if you know how to connect characters and follow four tones of Mandarin, and even if your count is above 4,000 of thinly brushed calligraphic masterpieces, you’d be fooling yourself. “You may say that I am a dreamer.
